Dr Jacobson is a experienced and well respected dentist for children. Recently since the advent of the new water laser technology Dr. Jacobson has been an pioneer and a leader in the field of laser dentistry for children. He lectures and instructs other dentists from around the country on laser dentistry.

Dr Jacobson is the Director of Pediatric Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he active teaches postgraduate dentists and performs complete dental rehabilitation on children under general anesthesia.  He is also Director of Pediatric Dentistry at Palisades General Hospital in New Jersey overlooking the Hudson Bay, where he also actively operates under general anesthesia for cases of severe decay and/or apprehensive children. Dr. Jacobson is currently practicing pediatric dentistry in both New York and New Jersey.  He is a board certified specialist in dental care for children.  He is the former director of pediatric dentistry at Downstate Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY), and he also is an assistant professor and clinical instructor at Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY). Dr. Jacobson is a former assistant professor at Columbia University School of Dentistry where he instructs post-graduate pediatric dental residents.  Dr Jacobson has extensive experience in dental treatment using both conscious sedation and general anesthesia.

My most rewarding day is one when I have made a difference in some child's life and fixed what hurt, or changed fear to fun, or gave someone back their smile.
